"Puddin' Pie Springer"

was born near noon on

December 5, 1987

along with four siblings, all male. 

                                            ~~~

                          12 years ago tomorrow

                    she had her only litter of pups. 

                                            ~~~

                       Yesterday, she had severe

                              stroke or seizure. 

                 Clarissa & I carried her in the house

               and layed her by my chair in the kitchen. 

                        I wanted to give her a chance

                           to come out of  her

                                         coma               

                                 but she never did. 

                                          ~~~

                             Very close to 2AM

                            she called out to me

                                            and

                         I immediately went to her

               where she was having fatal heart attack. 

                       So I was with her when she

                                   crossed-over. 

                       I wrapped her in a green sheet

                         and placed her in plastic bag. 

           She stayed where she was until I took her

                                             to

                   Pet Memorial Park at 8AM.

                         She is being cremated

                                         &

                     I will pick up her ashes late this

                                   afternoon.

                                        ~~~

                  She was a wonderful companion

                                     and

                    will be greatly missed here.
